About Us
Ekha Energy Project is a social venture that distributes affordable, modern, clean, renewable solar energy products to undeserving, low-income communities in Zimbabwe.
An estimated 60% of Zimbabwean citizens lack access to electricity. Kerosene lamps, candles and generators are the few alternative options available to people, but they come with negative effects such as being expensive, unclean, deteriorating peoples’ health and endangering the environment.
Our Vision
To end energy poverty & inequality
To achieve Sustainable Development Goal 7 by 2030.
Our Mission
To significantly bridge the energy supply gap by accelerating the distribution of clean, improved, cost-effective & reliable solar energy products to of-grid households in rural zimbabwe.
